We are half a mile from downtown Chula Vista, about four miles from Naval Base San Diego, and a short drive from the San Ysidro border crossing. Also nearby: San Diego Bay, the San Diego Zoo, Sesame Place San Diego, North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre, the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center, and the Las Americas Premium Outlets. A refundable $50 damage deposit is required at check-in. This is normally taken as an authorization hold on a credit or debit card — a hold, not a charge, with no funds withdrawn. The hold is released at check-out. If you use a debit card, your bank may take 3 to 7 business days to return the held funds to your available balance. Guests without a credit or debit card may leave a $50 cash deposit instead, which is refunded at check-out with a written receipt. Prepaid and reloadable cards cannot be used for the hold. Housekeeping is provided on request rather than daily. Please contact the front desk at any time during your stay to have your room serviced, request fresh towels, or arrange trash removal.
