About the hotel
Palazzo Scotto is a historic trulli residence: a 19th-century palazzo in the centre of Alberobello, a few steps from the Basilica. Nine rooms, no two alike. Five are in the palazzo, among them the Suite Trullo, a real trullo in the garden, and the Cummerse, with a private terrace over the trulli, designed for two. Four form the Widespread Collection, 40–150 metres away as the crow flies, each with its own door on a quiet lane: we say it first, because it is what makes them special. Reception is at the palazzo for everyone, 8:00–22:30; check-in 15:00–23:00, check-out by 11:00. If you arrive after 22:30, let us know: we will send you the instructions to get in, at no extra cost. Breakfast is cooked and served by NOS, the restaurant on the ground floor, 8:00–10:30, and is included in some rates. Live music at NOS every evening. The palazzo is for adults only, aged 18 and over; in the Widespread Collection, children welcome, cot on request, for a fee. Pets are welcome in two rooms of the Widespread Collection, Caminetto and Pietra: up to 6 kg, €15 per day. Cummerse, Pietra and Trullo Maestro have a kitchen: €15 per day for cleaning. Parking: partner garage about 650 m away, €25 per night, on reservation; free parking in Largo Italo Svevo, about 400 m away; street parking €2 per hour. Private driver (NCC) service on request, priced by destination.
