About the hotel
Nestled between the Rhône and Saône rivers in Lyon's most prestigious district, the 5-star Hotel Boscolo Lyon exudes luxury within a majestic, renovated 19th-century building. Just steps from Place Bellecour and the Grand Hôtel-Dieu, guests can enjoy stunning Rhône views from their rooms or relax with a coffee in the opulent Grand Salon, a former winter garden beneath a panoramic glass roof. The hotel beautifully balances Haussmann architecture with elegant touches of black marble, Vicenza stone, and rich fabrics. Originally opened in 1897, the hotel has hosted celebrities such as Martin Luther King Jr. and Edith Piaf. Following renovations completed in 2018, the Boscolo Lyon reopened its doors, inviting guests to experience its timeless grandeur.
